Description

This webinar concentrates on the specific duties of a lawyer in cases involving high client emotions and high conflict. We'll discuss strategies for realistic case evaluation, client communication, and additional provisions that can help lawyers abide by fiduciary obligations to their clients. The session will also touch on the obligations of ethical billing and the ways poor billing habits can destroy client confidence. We'll talk through the milestones in a typical divorce, conservatorship and support, best practices to ensure success, civility, and the most common warning signs and mistakes in family law and how to address them.

Mr. Ducloux has a long legacy of bar service, including being President of the Austin Bar Association, and serving as Chair of almost every major bar-related entity, as well as the Texas Bar Foundation.  He is a board-certified civil trial and appellate attorney in Texas.
