This webinar provides a guide to the fundamentals of immigration court practice, covering the roles and functions of key agencies involved in immigration enforcement and removal proceedings, such as the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Topics explained include the types of hearings in removal proceedings, the key statutes involved, and the most common forms of relief from removal. The webinar aims to equip participants with a foundational understanding of what is involved in successfully representing clients in removal proceedings in the immigration court system.
